A platoon of Marines were marching down a beach when, on top of a sand dune, a Navy guy starts bad mouthing the Marines. The platoon leader would have none of that!
He sends two of his best up the dune, and when they get to the top, they tumble out of sight. Sounds of fighting go on for a couple of minutes. Then the swabby appears back on top and says, "Is that the best you got?"
Well, the Lt. had had enough! He ordered the whole platoon up the dune to teach that swabby a lesson. They dissappered over the dune and the sounds of fighting, yells and screams went on for a long time. Then it got all quiet. A lone Marine comes crawling over the top of the dune. He's all beat up, uniform in shreds. He rolls down the dune to the platoon leader's feet and says, "It's a trap sir! There are two of them!"
