Last one I had was one of the English-made LLP models Dixie sold back in the late 70's. I loved it but some lowlife decided I didn't need it anymore and took my baby. Love to find another someday. Had an old bag mold marked "13" which was the gauge of the ball. Actually, it was around .71 and did O.K. with a (are you ready for it?)...leather patch. Really, it was all the old chamois pieces cut from all the sale stuff from local auto parts stores. I wish I knew more about the manufacture of those guns. The only marks were the "BP" proofs from England but nothing on any of the individual parts that'd tell you anything about their origin. Had the usual "Grice" and 1762 marks on the lock plate, but don't they all!
