Old CVA Hawken?

I looked at a CVA Hawken today in 50 cal...this one had a 1" barrel(not 15/16"it must have weighed 9 lbs!, it is in great shape,the owner says he has had it for years,I am wondering what the twist is,I had no way of checking it at the time..it priced low enough to keep for a backup gun......any help here appreciated
