I was able to take the .62 cal. smoothbore out today for some practice at the rifle range. I used the suggestions from my last question here on the board. I was shooting 80 grains FFg Goex, two over powder cards a unpatched .610 RB with an overshot card. At 50 yards I was able to put 8 shots in a ten inch circle from a sitting rest position. The shots were scattered inside the ten inch circle. Is this to be expected or should I do something different to tighten up the shots? I am planning on using this rifle for doe season and will plan my shots to be 50 yards or under.
