I find myself in the same boat. My Dixie Tennessee Mountain rifle is only sparking weakly, and only on the left side of the frizzen. I couldn't even finish my last shoot; I probably pulled the trigger 30 times to get 10 shots off.
There's a BP gunsmith about 30 miles north of me, and I may send the frizzen to him for re-hardening. Re-soling the frizzen may also be an option we should consider.
