Oh man is this a tough question! My favorite hunting rifle right now is my Sharon .62 half stock Hawken caplock. Once I get my newest additions to the collection sighted in both by Steve Zihn I have a feeling they might be my new favorites. All are in .62 cal, one is a hawken and the other is a flintlock jaeger/christian springs. I just like punching big holes in whatever I shoot. Lead is cheap, big holes usually equal big yet short blood trails.
