A .45 Southern Mountain rifle I built in 1977. Walnut stock from Freddie Harrison in Tenn, .45 13/16ths Douglas barrel, L&R English lock with waterproof pan and double throat hammer, banana patchbox, double set triggers, iron mounted with buffalo horn insets for heel and toe plates.
I've taken 6 deer with it, never needed more than one shot. My father died in Sept 1977 while I was working on it, so that's why its special to me.
