In having confidence to deliver a good clean/kill shot, I favor my T/C 40 cal, Hawken. Although I have no problem in dropping deer in their tracks with my homemade 54 cal. Colonial American fowler flintlock.
I even thought about trying some Canada goose hunting with that 42 inch barreled flinter,.... but the possibility of having to use a fire extinguisher on myself everytime I shoot put a damper on that idea!
