Iowa's early muzzleloader season started on the 17th. Wet weather has kept the farmers out of the field with nearly all the corn fields standing yet. Early reports tell of very poor luck. Only runs till the 24th, so doubt it gets much better. More for us late season hunters I guess. Too bad for the early season guys, as the tags sold out in record time. Hope the corn's out by pheasent season !!
