There were several different styles. From the ones I have examined, most had a straight bore to about two thirds of the length, and then flared from there to the muzzle. This applies to European made pieces. The cannon-barrel style sometimes had straight bores throughout the length. Usually referred to as "musketoons".
The Middle Eastern made variety with the exagerrated amount of flare are an entirely different matter.
