Congratulations on getting some early meat in the freezer. It was a busy week and Saturday was the only day available for me. The rain and warm weather kept me out of the woods Saturday. I have no way of cooling the meat so I didn't go out. My brother-in-law wanted to thin the herd on his property but I told him I would wait for cooler weather.
Speaking of squirrels, I noticed this past week the high number of squirrels killed on the Interstate, they must be looking for forage.
