So, as I mentioned on The Trade Blanket, I have decided to discontinue it. We can accomplish that on The Palaver Hide if we so chose. If we do, anyone who offers stuff for sale there without ever contributing to The Hide will be booted off. We had one guy on The Trade Blanket who apparently felt that my work and our advertiser's funding was intended to give him a free advertising vehicle even though he was not part of the group. When I asked him to contribute a few bucks to a charity that has nothing to do with me he ignored me completely. That's when I knew it was time for a change.
I am going to continue with both the Hide and The Palaver Hide for the time being. However, at present, Ballistol is our one and only sponsor, which is fine with me. JR sold The Maine Powder House and the new owner has expressed no interest in advertising here. I've not heard from Cain's either so rather than ask a third time we'll just go with Ballistol.
So there we are.
I will consider new advertisers but I do not plan to approach any at present.
We'll be okay as is.
