I arrived in Friendship on the 11th and got home yesterday afternoon.
The weather was just outstanding. Not hot, cool nights made sleeping great.
I talked with Greyghost and Trent, but no one else.
I had to keep the walking down to a minimum because of my Anemia. They still don't know why I have it.
However, I was able to shoot the senior optic agg (second place)and another five match agg. I won that one in my class)
We have a bench agg which is a lot of fun. 25,50 and 100yds. I shot a 50-2X at 25 on a 50 yd six bull and a 50-2x on a pistol target at fifty.
We use a two hundred yd Musket target at 100yds
I shot a 44-0. (my practice was much better),but
that's normal isn't it?
We used to go out to eat, but for the last 8-10 years we cook on the line. Lordy, you should see the layouts we have. We have already burned out one grill, and I'd like to have a dollar for every pound of meat and potatoes we've run through them.
This includes lunches.
We have a special trailer just for pots, pans, plates and tools for eating and cooking.
The best part was when we had home made peach pie with Vanilla ice cream, and with just a touch of my brandied cherries.
(we had enough pie for two suppers)
I did enjoy my week!
