I heard car paste wax works well too. I have a pair of Armi Sport muskets that need to be bedded BIG TIME. Matter of fact anyone shooting any Italian stallion should pull the barrel and take a look see. They leave QUITE a bit or room read 1/4" between teh tang face adn the wood! Holy cow glad I didn't shoot it. Bedding will the save the stock and myself for sure. I plan on taking pics along the way and I'll be sure to post the process as it goes along.
No doubt it helps with the competition muskets used in the NSSA especially since the show goes on rain or shine. Only thing that stops as skirmish is lightning.
