I've always used the 6 o'clock hold for target rifles. Now that my eyes are like yours, I feel there is no other choice for me. Working with my hunting rifles, the center hold is very difficult for me to see the bull. I am thinking very seriously of a clip on aperture for my shooting glasses. I've already been using the black tape with a hole punched in. Helps alot.
