You're correct, I wasn't anticipating an "issue" with this rifle. I envisioned quickly working up a good hunting load with pleasing accuracy. So much for my notions...
Life has a funny way of creating obstacles that try one's metal. This old girl and I are still going to hunt this season. We just have a bit of work to do first. Percussion or flint, I'll find a way, and that will make this chapter all the more worthwhile. Thanks for the input.
