But what a great feeling when they come in to your calls. I had two come in to me in three days/mornings of hunting this past week. One got to about forty yards and must have seen me and left without a shot taken. The next day I missed the one I mentioned above. The best thing about it was that I had made two short yelps, when a hen started to yelp back at me from behind. The gobbler was in front of me. I didn't half to do any more calling. Just wait for him to show, and get in range. Then I screwed up.
Hope all you fellow turkey hunters do better then I. Leon
