This is it. I'm gone for a couple of weeks after this post. I will try to check in periodically as I will have my notebook computer with me and the places I'll be in the Cape area have WiFi access. Not sure about the Transvaal.
Flying to Dakar, Senegal first. Stuck in the airport in Dakar for a couple of hours then on to Johannesburg, South Africa. Stuck there for about 2.5 hours then on to Cape Town. All told, from the time I leave my house to the time I arrive in Cape Town we're talking about 30 hours of traveling! But, imagine doing it by merchant ship like my father did his whole life.
So, play nice. NO POSTS ABOUT PRIMERS, IN-LINES, ETC.! Don't make me be sitting in Dakar deleting posts.
I'll post pictures when I get back. Bringing my TMMH Cap for the Elephant Safari.
