The first season ended yesterday with all turkeys are still alive and well. I blew my chance on Wednesday, when I missed a nice Tom at 15 yards. Shot right over his head. Needless to say, he didn't stick around. But the flintlock when off without any hesitation.
That getting up at 04:30, and hunting all morning, then going to work till 11:00 PM, can wear a person out quick. Didn't get up this morning till 08:00. Leon
