Did anyone notice the rear sight adjusting screw on the pair of target pistols that where featured on the recent Antique Roadshow ???
I didn't quite understand how it worked. Does anyone have a picture or schematic of that type??
They didn't show it for more than a few seconds.
They said that they were target pistols not Dueling pistols because they were rifled barrels.
I have heard some where that dueling pistols were supposed to be smoothbore. But was that rule hard and fast every where? And they were a matched pair in a case which I would think of as Dueling pistols. I wounder if they had serial numbers and if they were consecutive?
