Heard from Theo yesterday. He wants me to send him an itinerary when I get back from S. Africa. I tell him where I want to drive to and he books hotels for me.
Got any ideas? I want to drive from Auckland to the ferry, take the ferry across and drive to Blenheim where we're going to use Theo's house in the vineyard for a night or two, then drive down to Kaikoura and take a whale boat out. One night in Kairkoura and then drive down the coast to Central Otago staying in Q-Town and visiting a winery down there. I'll arrange the visit in advance.
Then I want to drive up the other coast and back to the ferry that way. Is that a good idea? Is there stuff to do on the way back?
12 nights gone, ten in NZ. What do you think Eric?
