The .32 uses a fiberglass ramrod. You will appreciate a layer of heatshrink tubing on it after taking a few glass splinters in your hands.
A bore guide (drilled out .22 one) will save the muzzle from undue wear if you don't layer the ramrod.
You could also try a brass or stainless ramrod. It will make the rifle more noseheavy though.
Cleaning that small long bore is a treat, particularly the patent breech. I've found that only JB gets it clean. I've been using it for about 5 years and haven't had any problems at all. I was afraid it would cause wear, but since I use a bore guide while cleaning, it hasn't been an issue.
The rifle itself is great. Quality is above average for a production gun. The lock is fast and reliable, and doesn't trash flints. I got about 90 shots from the first flint in it.
When I got the .32 I was torn between that and the .36. I went with the .32 because it is mostly for fun. I'm not sure I made the right choice, but I've been really happy with it, and it is really cheap to feed.
