I agree with rick. First solve the keyholing and then get a higher front sight.
I had the same problem with keyholing and the mold that helped solve my problem was the Lyman mold #Lyman 57730. It casts a .577 mini that weighs 570 Grains. Make sure you are using pure lead and not an alloy. The pure lead is necessary to obturate the base of the mini to grasp the rifling.
Don't try to bend the barrel.
Sorry I don't know a source for a higher front sight.
