Could be as Mike said but before honing or filing which cannot be un done without a replacement part or silver soldering, suggest backing off the spring on the front trigger. If that doesn't work, try a shim under the trigger plate (ea en where the screw attaches the plate to the gun. Easy to use business card several thicknesses to see what is needed.
I know where a Lyman GP used to reside. Will see if still there and take a look at it.
