Well, global warming has seemed to have caused an overly long winter in Iowa, so no shooting lately. Did some cleaning/reoiling the last couple weeks, and found some rust in a couple barrels that surprised me. The usual treatment seems to have cleaned them up.
I too have pledged to shoot more this year. Putting a long brass scope (period correct more or less) on my GPR hunting rifle, so that will need some work, and my 2 row percussion shotgun needs better patterning, as some of those pheasents managed to fly through the pattern this year. Also have a new .40 flinter that is still a virgin, and several others that havent been shot in awhile. I'm hoping for lots of nice weather this summer !!
