My guess it will be like almost everything in Muzzle loading, you will just have to try it. My 10 bore has about a 3 in long jug. It has a fairly long taper to the muzzle and a quick taper from the bore. I have not shot ball through it so I can't say. I have heard good and bad. I have been thinking about a 10 or 12 bore shotgun and a second .69 rifle barrel, kind of a moose, goose and turkey gun.
