Have you tried making an aperture for your shooting glasses? I made my first ones using a piece of aluminum from a soda can and a ladies hair clapse (small aluminum thing witha spring to closed it like a clothes pin). Cut out several pieces of AL about the size of the last joint on my little finger. Some 5 minute epoxy secured the AL to the clip and then drilled a very small hole and painted flat black. Clip on the shooting glasses and, if too dark to see sights and target, open it up a little. The smaller the hole the better the depth of field (Like a camera lens). I kept 3 sizes so could go to a larger opening in reduced light.
There is a commercial part called a Merit Optical Disc but that probably is now over $100.
