If you don't like cooking the brick method, Cube the meat and roast the meat on a flat board, with stewing vegetables. Roast a 350 degrees for 1 hour, per pound of meat.
Then feed the bear meat to your dog, saw the flat board into squares, serve with the vegetables.
Nobody will be the wiser, and the dog will be happy too...!
