Fish Identificiation.. a strange one!

I was fishing in Erie off Old Sterretania (Buttermilk Falls, if you know of it) and got a strange fish. It's mouth looked like a bass, and it's sides were kinda stripey, but what was strange was that on top of its head, it had little bumps kind of like horns, and the dorsal fin up at the top was way back towards the tail. I've never seen anything like it.
Any idea?
