Posted by Ed Novak Moved to the Chagrin (Chagrin Park) where there were about five other guys fishing all with know luck. (Two of them had come from the Grand where they had been skunked). One guy had fished the Chagrin yesterday and had landed two. He said water was up about a foot from Thursday. In fact, Chagrin was about as high as I care to fish it (despite what the flow report indicated yesterday). If we get any warm-up and run off this weekend our Ohio streams might be a bit too high and muddy to be productive. Might have to go to Pa. but that is just a guess. Looking forward to reading more positive posts than this one soon! Ed

Friday, started at Conneaut. Water was perfect, good color and good flow. Only person even fishing which usually means something bad and this was the case. Fished two hours and couldn't even get a bump or foul hook let alone a strike. Was fishing the lower area, maybe the fish were up river, I don't know.
