The dam stopped them from going upstream to some awfully nice mud flats to lay their eggs. So, will DNR or the City rebuild at least a low-head dam to stop the migration? Probably not. I don't think the DNR has the where-with-all to rebuild. Too much politics involved.

Well, we are off to a new year. Remember the dam at Daniel's Park. Hope you have pictures, because it came down on New Years Day! It doesn't exist any more!
