Fished Mill Creek on Sunday. Lots of people noted that Saturday was the day to fish (2 days after a big rain event), as there were hundreds & hundreds of fish in the creek. Not that many on Sunday, but managed to land about 8 and lose that many also. The fresh chromers were difficult to land on 8 or 9 pound tippit. Went to 12 pound and stopped loosing fish.
Lots of folks left Mill and went to the Ashtabula. I have spoken to a couple of them and they said the stream was "blown out" but lots of chromers in the chocolate. Was decently fishable by evening and will be perfect today (Monday and AT WORK).
Prince nymphs and sucker spawn (peach) worked best for me. Eggs, rubber or real, were not taken by any fish from those I talked with. Go figure.
