Charles Harker and I fished Conneaut Creek on Sunday as the reports on Elk Creek were that it was low with little or no flow. Started out on up by Kingsville. Walked for miles and never saw a fish.
Then we went down by the ballfields in town and found pockets of fish in very low and slow moving water. At the end of the day Charles landed two and I landed three. Mine were taken on modified black wolly buggers. Weather was great, flow was dismal.
Would not recommend going to that area till it rains again.
