Posted by Dave Rinehart At the Uniroyal Hole, Randy regained his crown as the "Chamnpion Leather-Lips Angler" with about 7 or 8 carp and two Buffalo's (no steelhead landed, but he did have one on for a few seconds). Steelehead season is effectively over, though there are a few in the holes. And they are pretty chome fish, not old black things. As long as the nights are cold, they will stay. No Smallmouth to speak of though, don't know if they have already come and gone or what? Water is VERY low, so . . . .

Randy and I fished the Grand Sunday at Painsville Dam and Uniroyal Hole. I landed a 7 3/4 # Steelhead on a wet fly (black with a red tail) at the Painsville Dam! There are at least a half dozen Steelies still there. Only saw a few Smallmouth, a few carp, and no suckers.
