A friend and I started at Oil Creek Sunday evening on our way to Little J. Flow was actually o.k. and water temp was 60. Friend landed one rainbow and that was all we could get...My first but not last time at the Little J., fished "The Narrows" and was very happy with that section. Water flow was good considering our lack of rain and water temp was 52. Morning fishing with nymphs produced a few beautiful 10" - 12" browns...Tuesday evening hatch had fish active for dries and we had a fun evening catching and missing 8" to 12" browns. I landed five, lost a few more and had about as many missed hook-ups (one guy we talk to said he caught 21 that night on emergers and that made sense to me as I think many of my missed fished would have hit an emerger). Given how much I enjoed this modest hatch, I'd like to fish that stream during a good hatch. Ed
