AS a "unoffical" #1 fan of the OFAA is was GOOD to all the cars that was there for qualifying!
# cars i hadnt ever seen and pretty amazing to see. I introduced myself to everyone and renewed friendships with some and it was a blast.
CAndy and the rest of the"Hatseeds" was with the MAssey"Showtime" car,was good to see them out and WITH those bright colorful Crew shirts,brought a tear to my eyes and was HARD to NOT see the "Hayride" being backed up!
I could imagine Tim being there,flames just a popping away as he was guided back by his'Proncess" a sight thats alaways good to see as Kristan made sure it WAS in the correct spot! This time it was the "Showtime" car and i know they put forth the same effort as Tim,LOTS of NITRO and a attitude to win! The Nitro was very THICK in the air,the sound was a tad different,iclosed my eyes for a second and it WAS the sound! I congratulsate the MAssey's for being firt pair out tonight,like the'lost plane formation' it was fitting.
Candy you do look great and i will talk with you more,it was BUSY and i belive the Tim TRibute' posters went VERY WELL!
I wore my Tim AHy shirt today in HIS and THIER hour and to hounour a person who willEVER be forgotten and his LEGEND lives on,in his kids and thier MOM!
Tomorrow will be another day at the OFAA and ill get more pictures and things from the event to send to Chris when he needs them.
WAS a blast and MORE of ablast to go,i just wish somehowi can do more for the Hay family,seems Tim is with all of them ion some way and they show it,just sit back and watch them, interact with other people and you see a bit of Tom come through.
I was blessed to have my mom come to Mo-Kan as the driver,she is 75years old and enjoys the races so much.
I do feel as part of the gropup but also part of a distant relative, nort sure IF i should get closer or sit back a distance and see what goes on. AS being a shy individual its usually keep OUT of they way and absorb what happens,can be very rewarding for sure!
Candy you and Suzy are HEROS for what you are doing and HOW you are doing it! Keep the faith and send some to me as i need more now then ever.
