It took a while to post anything, as its hard to except that a Great person has left us. We all have Tim stories to share, and 99 percent of them would make you laugh or smile. We meet Tim and his family right after buying our car, and before running it. We were drawn to the guy, and his family as most are.We just hung out the first couple of races, getting to know everyone, and you could tell he and family were special to all involved. Our first race, Shreveport , we showed up , and i guess looking lost, so Tim came over and offered to help anyway he could. He and Shawn had to show us how to pack our chute !!! One of our crew guys little girl was hanging at his pit, and came back with a double arm load or treats and spark plugs !!! She always seeked him out after that. !!!When Suzy came down with cancer, Tim and Candy called, e mailed to check on her, and sent gift cards from resturants to help her feel better after a bout of chemo. He called her his hero, for her determination to keep going to races and generally keeping a good attitude during her illness. He always asked first how his hero and sweety were doing. Last year at Mokan , on Sunday, the day of his first OFAA win, i had a long conversation with Tim.He talked about his passion of life, family, and racing. How he just enjoyed the fans, and anyday you could race, win or lose was a good day.Just making someone smile was enough for him.He talked about being real, and not getting to caught up in the win lose deal, how people need to be less serious, not sweat the the little things, and just enjoy themselves.Give the fans a show, because without them we couldnt do what we do.How blessed he was to have his Family, a great organization to race with, and friends.A young fans smile was worth more to him than anything. Its always hard trying to put into words what one really feels,Things dont always come out as we want, but im sure Tim wouldnt mind. He saw good in anybody !Tim, you are a great guy, with a great family, that instilled many memories in our hearts. You made us laugh, helped out in time of need, and was always someone we could count on, on and off the track.Thank you for you, and your Family caring for us. You are our hero, and most of all are real. Godspeed our friend, DoDad and Suzy, and the FREE SPIRIT crew, Keith, Steve, Rodger, Paulette, Louis and Tammy
