Any tips on fishing them green under-water lights?

Folks, I love living in this great water-front neighborhood but with this oppressive heat this time of the year, I was thinking of some night fishing. I see a lot of fish swimming around green underwater lights in the canal at night so I was wondering how productive is fishing these lights, or if there are any tricks to catch (and release) a fish or two. Also, how do they compare to above-water lights as far as fishing goes? Thanks for any shared thoughts.

Joe, I fish there occasionally from a kayak and paddle throughout the area using glow shad on jig heads from 1/8oz up to 1/4oz and gulp shrimp up to 3/8oz I was looking on this board to see if there was a place to put in the kayaks without having to paddle from the boat ramp under 45 all the way to the southwestern point of the island to fish.

Hector All the launching points in Tiki Island are privately owned. Fortunately, the ramp at 45 is not too far. Best wishes
