The word "biscuits" doesnt appear anywhere on the package that I can see, but thats what these are. "Cookies", if you prefer. Although, they dont really have cookies like this in the US. I just mean generally like...theres that other biscuit company that puts their product out in tubes with plastic wrapping. Cant remember the name. But yeah, "biscuits" here seem to be marketed to adults whereas in the US, cookies are firmly in the domain of children. Its interesting. I think it goes to the tea-drinking culture of the swine here.
Anyway, these are great. I wasnt expecting much. I rarely buy "biscuits" because they arent particularly sweet and I end up eating half the package (if that) and then tossing the rest. I just dont find them particularly appetising. Theyre an emergency food only.
But yeah, these Cadbury "biscuits" are great. Theyre just regular old run-of-the-mill plain-flavored biscuits. But they're coated on one side by chocolate.
Its a good balance. The biscuit is boring but still good. And the sweet chocolate is a nice complement. A satisfying texture as well with the chocolate on one side and the uncovered flip side.
Anyway, a poor review but a good biscuit. I would buy again.
