I was searching for information about plucking one's beard and found a lot of transexual forums and Islam forums. Anyway, there was a really bizarre Mohammadan forum where this emoticon was used with wild abandon: 
I can't imagine how it would come in handy. I'm going to start using it when I'm talking about Mohammadams, though. Maybe that's its purpose. But apparently its not Mohammad. The URL just says "sheikh". I was confused at first, because of the whole not-depicting-Mohammad thing that these people blow themselves up over.
