So there's hardly anything in to eat. My Dad's been working away, and my Mam generally does twelve hour shifts, and so hasn't had the time/energy to do it.
I keep on telling her that if she gives me the money, i'll go and do it, but I don't think she trusts me. Probably has visions of me coming back with the stock of a small off-license, and not a loaf in sight. But I wouldn't. I wouldn't spend a single penny of it on booze.
Still, 'once bitten, twice shy', eh? And I do have a bit of a chequered history in that area.
