Yeah, so I suppose the point i'm making is that even if Lamacq didn't 'understand' Richey, his motivations for doing what he used to do, the underlying issues that drove him, or whatever, I doubt it had anything to do with their respective class backgrounds, or the class positions they were in when the interview took place.
