Another example of the much more egalitarian society of the United States of America.
Research done by the London School of Economics has found that, while the U.S. does have greater social mobility than the U.K., it's still one of the least socially mobile societies in the developed world. If you're born into a poor family, then chances are you'll die poor as well.
