Do you mean James Phillip Hutchinson? If so, I'd argue that he's never been a member of the Manics online community. The only times he ever posted anything was to talk about the forum "rules" and he only went into the chatroom to try to ban people. He never engaged in discourse with anybody.
Even if we were to include him, I dont consider himself particularly successful. Reading what he does, it appears really boring. Also, he's been at the company longer than any of the other associates. He should have been made partner or found a job with better prospects by now.
Obviously, being a solicitor isnt bad. Can make a bit of scratch. But Im not defining success merely in a monetary sense. Im also factoring in job satisfaction, social contentment, and general standard of living.
