Late middle aged dude, I assumed he was Nordic, maybe even Finnish approached me as I was on my way home from work (at 3:30!). This was right outside the underground station.
Dude: Excuse me.
Legin: (pretends he doesnt hear because usually people are just asking for money or whatever)
Dude: Excuse me
Legin: (looks at the guy and thinks he might be legitmate)
Dude: Do you know where St Pauls is?
Legin: (furls brow and points straight ahead at St. Paul's underground station)
Dude: That way?
Legin: No. Do you mean the station or...
Dude: No, no, no, no. The...church.
Legin: I think it's that way (points in the other direction).
I gave the right vague direction, but I could have given further directions. Well, actually I dont know the quickest way there so maybe best just to give the general direction. He was close, anyway.
