Well, first you'll have to set out what you think this 'Western cultural-political inheritance' is.
No no, I asked you whether you yourself feel a distinct Western episteme exists, and whether it ought to retain its dominant global role.
Many manage to make the mistake that Western exported values are merely Modern values and conflate the too in a very shallow, culturally relativising manner. You may not be able to outline a Western distinctiveness. Or, more likely, you may be simply unwilling to do so.
And I suspect it'll be a load of stuff about 'equality' and 'democracy' and 'secularism', as though these are exclusively 'Western' concepts, and as though 'Western' states haven't spent centuries undermining equality and democracy, and propping up/supporting theocratic regimes, overseas.
The West can be accused of all of the crimes of other 'civilizations', but it also carries within it the kernel for their eventual overcoming. To not see that is to betray the very cultural inhertiance that you enjoy and martake in daily. A Wymark living anywhere else in the world would suffer a vastly different kind of existence as a result!

1. Do you not feel that there is a Western cultural-political inheritance that differentiates us, and which makes it absolutely imperative that we hold onto our hegemonic role in global affairs?
2. Do you share my jubilation that NATO won the Cold War? Or were you neutral there?
