What 'anti-Western blinkers'? I don't think I have 'anti-Western blinkers'.
Let me as you in all sincerity (for once):
1. Do you not feel that there is a Western cultural-political inheritance that differentiates us, and which makes it absolutely imperative that we hold onto our hegemonic role in global affairs?
2. Do you share my jubilation that NATO won the Cold War? Or were you neutral there?
(The West has an intellectual, moral, cultural tradition)...Which includes imperialism and colonialism, and it's offshoots racism, genocide, slavery and mass murder. Most of which were carried out by people who were claiming to be bringing the values of 'Christian/liberal civilisation' to the barbarians.
