Don't forget that when Birmingham were looking to bring in new players during last year's January window we were clear of the relegation places. Wolves were 20th at Christmas, so players were less likely to want to join. While some would want to join ANY team in the Prem, there are loads who don't relish the idea of a prolonged relegation battle.
Before this sounds like an excuse for Dave Jones, just ask yourselves this: who was responsible for the team being 20th at Christmas in the first place?
