I agree in principle. And from Robinson's perspective, if he want's to prove what a quality keeper he is, he will have fewer chances than standing between Wolves' pegs. Jonesy could sign him until the end of the season then if we do end up back with the Baggies, Robinson could go to another Premiership club (Like Wigan).
In theory though, I think he'll go to the club who will pay most and offer him the highest wage, and that ain't Wolves.
: I agree with Balderz,
: Murray is clearly one for the future and
: today, Oaks has done well but he is a number
: 2 in all reality. By getting Robinson (I rate
: him as top 5 on the country right now) it
: will limit Matts chances and thus we will
: loose what I am sure is going to be a fringe
: full blown England keeper within 3 years!
: In all reality Robinson will not go to a club
: who could be back in Div 1 next year as he is
: right up there in Svens mind! Who else would
: be keen to move and possibly be happy to take
: a few quid and eventually play 3rd fiddle
: nexy year! Will have to be a real old un in
: my book!!!!
: What about going and poaching Alex manninger
: that Austrian lad that was at Arsenal and is
: now in spain I think!
: He is still the Dogs dangly bits!!!!!!!!

: I think DJ will go for a more temporary quick
: fix, probably someone like Bosnich or
: Schmeichel or Nash until Jan when fingers
: crossed Murray should be OK and Kameni
: available.

: Just read somewhere Leeds might have to sell
: more players in January and Paul Robinson was
: on the list, might be worth a look.
: Is this the second season Wolves have
: struggled with having enough senior keepers?
