Practice's McDermott to Star in CBS' 3 Lbs. February 15, 2005 By A.J. Frutkin The Practice's Dylan McDermott will star in CBS' medical drama 3 Lbs. Barry Levinson will direct the pilot, about a group of brain surgeons. Levinson and producing partner Tom Fontana have signed on to produce the project alongside writer Peter Ocko, Paul Stupin and Paramount Network TV. Last week, CBS cast Reiko Aylesworth on the show. Aylesworth played CTU agent Michelle Dressler on 24. **************** Wouldn't it be great if he could join Kelli Williams on Mecial Investigations??
